     Aaron McComas, son of William McComas and Hannah (?),, was born on 3 July 1734.1,2,3 Aaron McComas was the son of William McComas and Hannah (?).1 Aaron McComas was named an heir in the will, dated 21 September 1747, of William McComas, his father, to receive remainder of GRESHAM'S COLLEGE (after giving 150 acres to his brothers), which appears to be 45 acres.2,4 Aaron McComas was listed as a creditor against the will of William McComas, his brother, on 7 April 1757; for an estate appraised at 20.1.1 pounds.4 Aaron McComas witnessed the will of Daniel McComas after 2 September 1765.5,4 Aaron McComas was signed the Association of Freemen for Gunpowder Neck (Gundpowder Lower Hundred) in 1775.6 He and Margaret McClure obtained a marriage license on 7 July 1785 at Harford County, Maryland.7 Aaron McComas married Margaret McClure on 7 July 1785 at Harford County, Maryland.8,9,3 Aaron McComas died in 1805.3

     Alexander McComas, son of John McComas and Ann Delap,, was born on 27 August 1721.1,2,3 Alexander McComas was the son of John McComas and Ann Delap.1,2 Alexander McComas married Deborah Hartley between 12 January 1741 and 27 July 1747 at St. George's Parish.2,4,3 On 10 December 1741 Ann Delap conveyed land consisting of a 98 acre portion of "Come By Chance" to Alexander McComas, William McComas, Daniel McComas, Mary McComas and Ann McComas at Baltimore County, Maryland.5 Alexander McComas executed a land record leased from Lords Baltimore: Aquilla's Forest in 1743 at Baltimore County, Maryland.6 On 8 June 1743 Alexander McComas and Deborah Hartley conveyed land consisting of 100 acres known as "Edinborough" (part of "Robert's Choice" to Josias Middlemore at Baltimore County, Maryland.7 Alexander McComas executed a land record leased from Lords Baltimore: Elinors Delight in 1746 at Baltimore County, Maryland.6 On 12 November 1746 Alexander McComas and Deborah Hartley conveyed land consisting of a 49 acre portion of "Come By Chance" to Thomas White at Baltimore County, Maryland.8 On 15 April 1749 Alexander McComas conveyed land consisting of a portion of "Come By Chance" to John Hall, Isaac Webster, and John Giles. Note: On 7 June 1749, Thomas White granted a release to these three men for this land, so although it appears that Alexander McComas sold the land twice, it might have been a confusion in deed paperwork at Baltimore County, Maryland.9 Alexander McComas executed a land record owned an 18 acre portion of Strawberry Hills and Deaver's Addition in 1750.2 On 20 March 1757 John Deaver conveyed land to Alexander McComas consisting of 32 acres being part of three tracts of land called Strawberry Hills, Turkey Hills, and Deaver's Addition, for 15 pounds of common money. The land was located on the east side of James Run on the head of the Bush River. John Deaver had gotten the land from his father, Thomas Deaver, who purchased it from his gandfather, John Deaver.10 He died before 27 October 1769.3

     Alexander McComas, son of Daniel MacComus and Elizabeth (?),, was born on 14 September 1692.3 Alexander McComas was the son of Daniel MacComus and Elizabeth (?).1,2 Alexander McComas married Elizabeth Day, daughter of Nicholas Day and Sarah (?), on 15 November 1713.1,2,4,5,3 On 4 November 1720 Joshua Merriken and Dinah Day conveyed land consisting of 100 acres of "Horse Range", for 5200 pounds of tobacco to Alexander McComas at Baltimore County, Maryland.6 On 29 December 1720 Alexander McComas had land surveyed consisting of 100 acres called "Timber Hall", which he then conveyed to William Hitchcock at Baltimore County, Maryland.7 He and Elizabeth Day executed a land record sold 100 acres named "Macedon(ia)" to John Norris for 3000 pounds of tobacco. "Macedon" was located at the head of Bush River and on the west side of Winter's Run on 1 May 1724 at Baltimore County, Maryland.2,8 Alexander McComas married Hannah Whitaker, daughter of John Whitaker and Mary (?), on 23 August 1728.1,2,4,5 On 8 June 1743 Alexander McComas conveyed land consisting of 100 acres known as "Edenborough" to Josius Middlemore, the local doctor, for 2500 pounts of tobacco. "Edenborough" was located between Bynum's Run and Winter Run at Baltimore County, Maryland.9 He executed a land record to lease 50 acres known as "Elender's Delight" on His Lorsship's Reserve on 2 May 1746 at Baltimore County, Maryland.9,10 On 17 April 1747 Alexander McComas leased land consisting of a 191 acre portion of "Ward's Purchase" (201 acre total) from William Dallam, adminstrator for John Ward, deceased, who originated a 99 year lease in 1742 at Baltimore County, Maryland.11 On 8 January 1753 Alexander McComas conveyed land consisting of a 100 acre portion of "Horses Range" to Alexander McComas at Baltimore County, Maryland.9 Alexander McComas left a will on 18 October 1760. It was witnessed by Daniel McComas and John Poteet. The heir(s) was/were Aquila McComas, Hannah Whitaker, Mary McComas, Alexander McComas and Daniel McComas. The will mentioned Sarah McComas, Elizabeth McComas, Hannah McComas, David McComas and Priscilla McComas.12,3 Alexander McComas died before 4 February 1761.2,3 Records of administration for the estate of Alexander McComas appeared on on 26 April 1762. The records included Jacob Miles, Richard Rhodes Jr, John Whitaker, Aquila McComas, Elizabeth McComas, Thomas Simmons and Mary McComas.9

No. 13.8 He was a signer of the Oath of Allegiance to Maryland in 1778.8 He died between 8 February 1790 and 8 April 1800.4

     Aquila McComas, son of Alexander McComas and Hannah Whitaker,, was born on 5 May 1731.2,3 Aquila McComas was the son of Alexander McComas and Hannah Whitaker.1 Aquila McComas executed a land record leased from Lords Baltimore: Shaws Dependence in 1746 at Baltimore County, Maryland.4 He married Sarah Preston, daughter of James Preston and Sarah Poteet, on 2 January 1752.2,3,5 Aquila McComas was named an heir in the will, dated 18 October 1760, of Alexander McComas, his father, to receive dwelling plantation (85 acres) jointly with his sister Mary.6,3 On 17 June 1761 Aquila McComas purchased land from Hannah Whitaker, executrix for Alexander McComas, both of Baltimore County, consisting of 50 acres known as Elender's Delight for 25 pounds 11 shillings Sterling. The land was leased from Lord Baltimore by Alexander McComas on 2 May 1746 for a term of 99 years at Baltimore County, Maryland.7 Aquila McComas was named in the administration records for the estate of Alexander McComas, dated 26 April 1762, to receive 8.15.0 for his portion plus 55.00.00 for the dwelling plantation.8 On 3 October 1767 John Poteet conveyed land consisting of the remaining lease on 100 acre portion of "McComas' Manor" to Aquila McComas at Baltimore County, Maryland. Aquila was the brother of John's wife's (Ann's) first husband, and the first cousin of William McComas, who had signed the lease over to John.9 He died between 17 September 1771 and 21 October 1771.2,3
