     William Amos Jr was a Quaker.3 He was born on 3 March 1718.1,2,3 He was born on 1 May 1718.4 He married Hannah McComas, daughter of William McComas and Hannah (?), in 1739. It was his second marriage.1,2,4,5 William Amos Jr executed a land record leased from Lords Baltimore: Saplin Ridge in 1746 at Baltimore County, Maryland.6 He was admitted to membership in the Gunpowder Mtg (Society of Friends).2 He executed a land record leased from Lords Baltimore: Amos' Industry in 1752 at Baltimore County, Maryland.6 He witnessed the marriage of Thomas James and Ann Amos on 27 August 1761 at Little Falls Meeting House.2,7,8 William Amos Jr was in military service circa 1776 as a lieut. in the 6th Co. of the 92nd Regt. under Col.
