As of 1900, Ervin Grant Shearer and Jane Agnes ("Jennie") Kessler had 4 (all still living) children.2 She appeared in the census in 1930 in Spring Grove, York County, Pennsylvania, listed as a widow, owning a home valued at $2,200.
