Biography

Jacob Norris was born in 1753. He was in Military Service about 1776 and became a Colonel. He was with Washington in his campaign in Delaware and Jersey, and was severely wounded.1 In August 1791, Jacob Norris served on the grand jury in Harford County, Maryland.1 In 1796, Jacob Norris was a Delegate in the Maryland House of Delegates for Harford County.1 In March 1798, Jacob Norris served on the petit jury in Harford County, Maryland.1 On 28 July 1800, Jacob Norris was appointed a judge of election for the third district in Harford County, Maryland.1 In March 1801, Jacob Norris served on the grand jury as Foreman in Harford County, Maryland.1
