Daniel McComas was born on 12 January 1697 in Anne Arundel County, Maryland.2,3,4,5,6 He executed a land record showing he owned it, but held for him by Stephen Gill in 1707.2 He executed a land record showing he received it from Stephen Gill of Anne Arundel County in exchange for a 98 acre tract on the south side of the Severn named "Brown's Chance" on 23 May 1710.7 On 18 September 1729, Daniel McComas purchased land known as "Gresham's College" (195 acres) in Baltimore County, Maryland, from Solomon Wooding and his wife, Sarah, of Baltimore County, for 4000 pounds of tobacco, a cow, a calf, and 200 weight of pork. The tract lay on the west side of the branch called Winter's Run, and consisted of land, houses, gardens, orchards, and fences. This was witnessed by Thomas Bond.8 Daniel McComas married Martha Scott on 26 December 1734 in Joppa, Baltimore County, Maryland.1,9,10,2,3,5,6 About 1735, Daniel McComas lived in Baltimore County, Maryland.4 On 8 March 1745, Daniel McComas purchased land known as "Gresham's College" (195 acres) in Baltimore County, Maryland, from Solomon and Sarah Wooden, now of Anne Arundel County. This appears to be the same deed and transaction as enacted on 18 Sep 1729.8 On 24 March 1745, Daniel McComas purchased land known as "Gresham's College" (160 acres) in Baltimore County, Maryland, from Solomon and Sarah Wooden for the price of 25 pounds Sterling. This appears to be an additional portion of the same tract as purchased on 18 Sep 1729 with additional information: original tract was granted to John Gresham of Anne Arundel County on 1 Jun 1685 as 500 acres, bordering tracts called Goodhope, Colegate's Forrest, and Gibbon's Park; states that the portion being sold lays eastward of the southwest branch of the Bush River, formerly known as Winter's Run, and consists of 160 acres.8 He executed a land record showing he owned them in 1750.2 On 18 October 1760, Daniel McComas witnessed the will of Alexander McComas, his brother.11,5 Daniel McComas made a will on 16 June 1765. The executor was Martha Scott. James McComas was named as heir. Aquila McComas, Daniel McComas, Jr, Mary McComas, Captain William McComas, John McComas, Elizabeth McComas, Sarah McComas, Hannah McComas, and Martha McComas were mentioned in the will. Zacchaeus Barrett was also known as Zacchaeus Onion. He was also known as Zachariah Barrett.2 As of about 1781, Zacchaeus Barrett and Hannah Bond had 11 children.1 He was born in 1743 in England.1,3,2 He migrated before 24 August 1754. On 24 August 1754, in Maryland, Zacchaeus Barrett was named as an heir in the will of Stephen Onion, his uncle, which required Zacchaeus to take on the surname of ONION in return for inheriting half of Stephen's estate. Stephen was ensuring that his property would always be held by someone bearing the ONION surname. Other heirs were Deborah and Thomas Onion.4,5 On 8 October 1754, Zacchaeus Barrett was a beneficiary of the will of Stephen Onion, his uncle.5 Zacchaeus Barrett married Hannah Bond on 2 December 1757 in Baltimore County, Maryland.1,3,6,7,2,5,8,7,9 He served on the Baltimore County Committee of Observation on 16 January 1775 in Baltimore County, Maryland.2 He registered for military service on 6 May 1776 as 1st Lieutenant in the Gunpowder Upper Hundred.2 He registered for military service between 1776 and 1778 as Captain in Gunpowder Battalion.2 Thomas Bond, Jr, executed a land record to convey it to Hannah Bond and Zacchaeus Barrett in 1780.5 He died in 1781 in Baltimore County, Maryland, at age ~38.1,3,2,10

Daniel Scott, Jr, was born about 1680 in Anne Arundel County, Maryland.1,3,3,3,4,2 He executed a land record to convey it to John Ewings, on 3 August 1703 in Baltimore County, Maryland.5 He married Elizabeth Whitaker about 1704.1,3,3,5,4,2 On 11 May 1713 Jane Scott and Daniel Scott, Jr, posted admin bond for Jane's husband's estate, which was inventoried on 21 May 1713 and valued at 21.18 pounds.1 He executed a land record receiving it from Archibald Edmondson of Prince George's County, and his wife Jane on 29 October 1713 in Baltimore County, Maryland.5 On 14 January 1714 Daniel Scott, Jr, and Elizabeth Whitaker was listed as kin to John Whitaker when John's estate was inventoried.1 He executed a land record to gain it from Archibald and Jane Edmondston of Prince George's County on 30 August 1714 in Baltimore County, Maryland.5 Between 1718 and 1733 Daniel Scott, Jr, was a justice of Baltimore County.1 He executed a land record to obtain them from John and Margaret Jones (Margaret is daughter and sole heir of John Chadwell who engaged in several land transactions with Daniel's father, Daniel Scott) on 21 July 1724.1 In October 1724, Daniel Scott, Jr, was appointed one of the five original town commissioners, following an act passed by the General Assembly for erecting a town at Joppa, in what was then Baltimore County in Joppa, Baltimore County, Maryland.6 On 20 April 1725, Daniel Scott, Jr, met with 2 other town commissioners and laid out 21 acres of land for the town of Joppa, including 1 acre for the use of the St. John's Parish Church. The town was divided into 40 lots, each being sold for 1 pound 7 shillings.6 Between 1725 and 1734 Daniel Scott, Jr, was a representative of Baltimore County in the General Assembly.1 Between 1725 and 1728 Daniel Scott, Jr, was a burgess for Baltimore County, Maryland.3 On 13 March 1730, Daniel Scott, Jr, purchased land known as "Birr" or "Binn" (100 acre portion) in Baltimore County, Maryland, from Michael Taylor.7 On 11 August 1731, Daniel Scott, Jr, witnessed the will of Thomas Smithson.1 Avarilla Scott and Daniel Scott, Jr, came to live with Daniel Scott, Jr, her uncle, upon the death of her grandmother in June 1733.1 In 1741 Daniel Scott, Jr, was a burgess for Baltimore County, Maryland.3 On 4 March 1742, Daniel Scott, Jr, sold land to Jarvice Gilbert known as "Matthew's Neighbors" (200 acres) in Baltimore County, Maryland.76 Between 1742 and 1744 Daniel Scott, Jr, was a representative of Baltimore County in the General Assembly.1 He died on 20 March 1745 in Baltimore County, Maryland.1,3,3,3,4,8,2

Thomas Bond, Jr, was born about 1703.1,2,3 He married Elizabeth Scott on 13 April 1725 in Baltimore County, Maryland, (sometimes recorded as 3 Feb 1725).1,4,5,2,6 Before 7 March 1743, Thomas Bond, Jr, had land surveyed known as Bond's Fortune" (151 acres) in Baltimore County, Maryland.7 On 7 March 1743, Thomas Bond, Jr, sold land to Walter Billingsley known as "Bond's Fortune" (a 95 acre portion) in Baltimore County, Maryland.7 On 24 July 1746, Thomas Bond sold land known as "Francis' Delight" (100 acres), "Bond's Choice" (216 acres), and "Good Neighborhood" (a 122 acre portion), in Baltimore County, Maryland, to Thomas Bond, Jr.7 On 6 November 1747, William Bond sold land known as "Miles Improvement" (40 acres) and "Tower Hill" (100 acres) in Baltimore County, Maryland, to Thomas Bond, Jr.7 Thomas Bond executed a land record regarding "Bond's Forest" (a portion including a house already built which was intended for a meeting house and became the Quakers' Little Falls Meeting and also a schoolhouse already built) to John Bond and Thomas Bond, Jr,, as trustees, in 1749.6,8 On 26 November 1751, Thomas Bond, Jr, and Elizabeth Scott sold land to Edward Mattingly known as "Bond's Fortune" (a 56 acre portion), "Francis' Delight" (100 acres), "Bond's Choice" (210 acres), (109 acres) "Bond's Beginnings" (109 acres) and "Good Neighbor" (122 acres), in Baltimore County, Maryland.7 On 7 April 1757, Thomas Bond, Jr, witnessed the will of William McComas.9 On 22 March 1774, Thomas Bond, Jr, was appointed as one of the eight original Judge/Justices of Harford County when the county was created.6 In August 1774, Thomas Bond, Jr, posted a Surety Bond, along with Mordicai Amos for John Kean to get a tavern license.
